What’s Up February?

Happy Valentine’s Month! I hope you celebrate by having someone treat you well ALL day and ALL year, for that matter. And keep in mind that Valentines can be a partner, but also a friend or someone that just loves for who you are.

So, what do I have for you this month?

Coupon of the month:

I have coupons for Thirst this month on Smashwords. Click here for Thirst on Smashwords and use coupon code ZZ49P. Thirst can be read as a standalone, but if you’d like to read book 1, Arson, you can also read it for free on all major platforms. The coupon expires March 1.

Tag team of the month: Nothing says Valentine’s Day like a good witch romance, right? My team up for the month is with other witch writing authors. If you haven’t read Winning the Witch yet, grab it on Kindle Unlimited or Kindle this month. Click on the picture below or here to be taken to a whole coven of witch authors. You’re welcome. Witches…they’re not just for Halloween.

Secret of the month…if you’re reading my blog or newsletter, you’re the first to know that Winning the Witch will be on sale for only 99 cents from 2/10 to 2/17. Click here to be taken to the Amazon page, and watch the prices. Amazon has weird times when they turn the sales on and off.

What I’ve been up to:

  1. I’m about halfway into the 4th book of The Traveling Calvert Sisters. You’ll get it this spring. Here’s the cover and blurb on Goodreads.
  2. I had a great time at Writers of the Riverbend in Alton Illinois. A big thanks to author Sarah Dhue for putting the event together and even bigger thanks to the people that came out and checked out the local author scene.
  3. Contact High is cooking along over on Kindle Vella with 10 active episodes. You can read the first 3 episodes for free on Vella here OR you can read the first two eps on my last blog. Episodes will drop every Tuesday and Thursday through the spring. It will be a book this summer.
  4. I’ll be looking into giving my website a much-needed revamp in the next couple of months. I started this when I was simply a reviewer, and I’m quickly needing some more features. I’m not sure if anything will change right away, but if you can’t access my website, it may be getting an update.
  5. Check this fancy piece of material below. That, my friends, is my first anthology with the other authors of Flirty in Kansas City. The event is 2/18, and you can get a print version at the event. My short, Hot Sauce Blues, is in it. It is 700 pages and $20. Proceeds go to Newhouse Domestic Violence Shelter in Kansas City.

Speaking of Flirty in Kansas City…if you’re in the area on February 18th, come by and see me. I’ll have bookmarks and copies of all books!

What I’m Reading:

I have an ARC of Wedding Games by Evie Alexander, and I know you’re all jealous. It’s a companion novella to her Kinloch series but can be read by itself if preferred. It’s a quick read and fun. You can pre-order here or click on the picture below.

I’m on a total Tessa Bailey tear, and I think it’s mostly because we have the same writing style. (First person/present tense.) I can read any tense and POV easily, but I’m finding that writing in first/present makes those books easier for me to read now. I’m currently reading Getaway Girl and just finished MKV.

I hope everyone has a wonderful February!
